MEET DR. MYRA VAN HOFF
Dr. Van Hoff followed in her mother’s footsteps by studying and graduating from the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry in 1989. She worked alongside her mom until she moved to the US in 2000 and got married. She worked as a dental assistant while preparing for the California Dental Board exams. In 2003, she received her California dental license and has worked at different private or corporate offices.
Dr. Van Hoff believes in this quote by the Dalai Lama: “Mutual respect is the foundation of genuine harmony.” With this quote in mind, Dr. Van Hoff builds rapport, trust, and confidence with her patients. By listening to her patients, she develops their treatment plans based on their unique needs and wants to help them achieve improved dental health and aesthetics that they deserve.
Dr. Van Hoff is excited to be a part of the Dr. Riemer Dental Group. Working with Dr. Denise Riemer and Dr. Bela Riemer reminds her of how she started in her profession.
In her free time, Dr. Van Hoff loves to spend her weekends outdoors hiking the Central Valley’s foothills, the Eastern Sierras, the nearby national parks, or the Central Coast. Her indoor hobbies are reading Nordic thrillers, watching movies, and playing classical music on the piano.
